The idea of running a ‘business with social responsibility’ stems from the mind of Harshal Vaidya, an ardent foodie and traveller. Harshal loves to trekking and travelling and especially in the rural settings. During his trips, Harshal experienced the rural magic of farm fresh healthy and organic food, the variety of preparations and effort of rural women in its production.
Harshal himself being a LD student was forced out of the mainstream education. He has very high sense of responsibility and empathy for people who suffer various disadvantages in highly competitive and commercial society today. Harshal continues with his management education through his business venture and is doing ancillary courses for the necessary skill building.
Harshal has combined his love for food, food culture, travelling and his sense of social responsibility into a workable business concept. Harshal aims to bring the the natural, organic and healthy products to the kitchens of all by keeping the prices within the budget of all. Harshal wants to establish the business as a link between the Rural Women’s SHGs and the metropolitan city like Mumbai.
